I have 6 yard signs and can maybe get 3 more. When are you guys planning to leave for Texas?
Here are a few tips to get you started:
1. Avoid giving out personal info in the forums; ask that people contact you through Ning mail (look at the upper left corner of your screen; this is your mailbox!).
2. If you post a discussion stating that you need things, please post it only ONCE. We do not need ten discussions floating around for the same person with the same needs.
3. If you have a donation, please browse through our threads and check around for people who need things (we have threads by item and by state; check both!) before you start your own discussion stating that you have things. This is only to combat those who may have already gotten a donation but want more (we believe that we should get everyone a donation before we start shelling out seconds).
4. If you are matched with someone for a donation, please close your discussion. You don't have to delete it, however, we ask that you stop taking replies so that those with donations can be matched with people who haven't been matched for anything.
5. If you have a successful matchup, please write a review on us! Go to the home page, and scroll to Furqan's blog. You'll see a post asking for reviews.
6. Please spread the word about Obamacycle! Post about us in the Obama HQ blog and on your friends' blogs, as well as on your group blogs. E-mail your friends and invite them here. Put one of our widgets on your myspace.
